South Carolina Tourism: Best of South Carolina

20:07 AK 5 Comments

South Carolina is one of the best places to go for a romantic trip, even if it means hauling some less romance-inducing family members along with you. Between the beautiful beaches and the hundreds of ways to keep children entertained, there are fewer places that allow for a vacation that can be both romantic and family orientated.

For example, while Mom and Dad enjoy watching a beautiful sunrise the children can be playing on the beach or enjoying activities with the resort entertainment staff. Some of the best Myrtle Beach resorts offer summer kids activities that will give parents time from morning to night to do what they want on their vacation.
Plus there’s nothing that allows for more romance than kids who are tired from a full day of playing. And there are lots of ways to keep kids entertained while you’re enjoying a South Carolina vacation.

Resorts have a wide variety of pools and water attractions that let kids play within eyesight of adults. So you can enjoy the Southern sunshine while the kids wear themselves out.

Or there are also a ton of things to do in downtown Myrtle Beach, while the kids enjoy a ride in the Sky Wheel, play at the nearby arcades, or take a tour of the Ripley’s museum, you and your significant other can stroll down the Boardwalk and take in the fresh sea air.

Vacations are designed to be an escape for you and for the other smaller members of your family and in beautiful South Carolina, both of these things can happen. You can get some reconnecting time while the kids get some play time.

The sounds and views of the South Carolina beaches are sure to relax you and in this family-friendly vacation destination you’ll have the time to enjoy your relaxation in the slow, southern way.

Honeymoon destinations,

Three Most Romantic Destinations on Earth

09:34 AK 2 Comments

Sometimes, a vacation is all about the romance.  Be it a honeymoon, an opportunity to pop the question, or simply a well-deserved break, there are certain places made especially for those who have found true love.   Let’s take a look at the three most romantic destinations on this planet.

The Seychelles

If you don’t know where the Seychelles are, you will have trouble finding it on a map because it is so small. It is just off the coast of southern Africa and it is one of those places that people can really escape too.

It has the most beautiful coastline, offering a real paradise and idyllic surrounding.  Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles, is one of the smallest capital cities on the planet, but you can still take a good day exploring all it has to offer.  Spend a day deep sea fishing or mountain biking.  Or perhaps you simply want to sit on the beach, gaze at the stars from one of the most amazing cliffs and enjoy the sunshine all day long.  It is, by far, the most romantic destination on the planet.

The Maldives

The Maldives are one of the most popular honeymoon destinations.  Rather than hotel rooms, you will have your own floating cabin, with a gorgeous deck and a boat and jetski to reach the shore.  The weather is gorgeous all year long and you can simply lose yourself in the tiny coral reef islands, sitting under gently swaying palm trees.  There isn’t much to do here, so it is really the place to go to relax and gaze into each other’s eyes, but that is what you are looking for if you want a real romantic getaway.

Place in the beautiful Indian Ocean, you may want to take a day or so to go scuba diving.  There are also many spa resorts littered around the tiny islands, so why not take the time to go and get pampered?  The sands are golden and the waters sparkle and dazzle.  It is one of those places where you will never want to leave from again.

Island Hopping in Greece

Greece is hugely touristic, but most people pick one resort and stick to it.  Instead, why not go island hopping instead?  You can visit all of the amazing beaches that Greece has to offer.  Stay in a romantic five star spa hotel one night, and sleep in a cabin on the beach the next.

Go to mountainous Crete, visit the beautiful blue seas of Paxus, wonder through the green world of Zakynthos and follow in the footsteps of the ancient Greek gods, following Odysseus’ path on Ithaca.  Enjoy the amazing cultural heritage Greece has to offer, as well as the fantastic food.  Chase each other through the olive orchards and simply laugh and feel young again.  Do think about hiring a car in Greece, to make travelling about much easier.

These are but three of the most romantic destinations on this planet, but there are many more.  There still are places where it seems is if time stands still, making way for intense and true love to blossom.
