Mount Roraima, Venezuela - The Mysterious Peaks of the South America

02:55 AK 5 Comments

Roraima is the best trekking place in South America which is located on Venezuela's border with Brazil and Guiana. It is one of the world's most extraordinary place formed naturally and it looks a island floating on the cloud

Stone mount is shaped like a table  in the clouds. We can reach the top roof of that mount by  climbing the stairs that had been provided Venezuelan government.
Mount Roraima lies on the Guiana Shield in the southeastern corner of Venezuela's 30000 km Canaima National Park forming the highest peak of Guyana's Highland Range

The mountain has held a special significance for the indigenous people of the region, and it is central to many of their myths and legends

The top is far from flat, with strange shapes eroded by both wind and water forming peaks and troughs, the latter occasionally filled to become streams. The single narrow path over the soft rock was clearly marked by lines of sand worn away by years of weary hikers.
