Renting your Own Catamaran in the Caribbean

Travellers are drawn to the Caribbean by a variety of well-known attractions. The natural splendour of the area is unsurpassed, and the sheer variety of different landscapes to behold makes it an incredible vacation destination.

From a simple visit to the Florida Keys to an adventure down to the Caribbean coast off of Trinidad and Tobago or even the vast country of Venezuela, there are endless opportunities for fun in the sun and incredible new sights.

Visitors to the Caribbean are often content to choose a beach, any beautiful beach, and spend their time in one place basking in the warmth of the tropics. An all-inclusive vacation can sound like heaven to busy executives or parents of small children, as the thought of having everything planned and included means a no-worry escape to paradise.

However, even on the best of all-inclusive vacations, travellers often want to see and experience the local area. Excursions are often available through the hotel concierge, and boat rides are at the top of many travellers’ lists.

Look up boats in the Caribbean on the internet and you’re bound to find a world of information on boats of all shapes and sizes. One of the most popular in the Caribbean is a catamaran, known for its vast comfort and ample space for comfortable cruising through the crystalline waters.

You can climb aboard a catamaran with a local tour operator, but you’ll likely have to spend the day with other travellers. If privacy and true relaxation is what you desire, consider renting your own catamaran.

Put your sailing lessons to use and captain your own boat, or call upon the skills of a certified friend or relative to guide you out onto the open seas. From the decks of your catamaran you can view majestic tropical coastlines and rocky outcrops that make perfect photo opportunities.

You’ll also have access to some of the best snorkelling and diving in the world- many untouched sites are located well off of the coast and can only be visited by boat. Swim with schools of tropical fish in warm azure waters and you’ll feel the weight of the world being lifted off your shoulders.

If the white sands of the region are what truly catch your eye, you can sail on your catamaran to virgin coves and pristine beaches.

Having more than just a day out on the water gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace, and visit places you could never even dream of. Plan your own itinerary, with a great balance of seeing natural wonders and stopping in the charming ports of your choice.

Renting your own catamaran means you won’t be subject to the desires of other travellers who are not in your group. A catamaran trip can be a luxurious way to spend time as a family, reward your employees or slip away for a romantic getaway with that special someone.

If your vacation dreams include a trip to the stunning Caribbean, a catamaran is undoubtedly the best way to enjoy the essence of the destination.

A Honeymoon in Dubai

Dubai is fast becoming a prime destination for honeymooners, with its blend of rich culture and
modern architecture lending itself as the perfect romantic getaway.

No matter what sort of honeymoon you envisage, whether it be action-packed or chilled out, Dubai
has something to offer every couple. Its collection of stunning beaches is the perfect place to soak up
the sun, with the warm waters of the Persian Gulf being simply irresistible. Or, if you’d prefer to do
something a little more active, you can always venture out into the desert, where you can create your
own Arabian adventure.

With its all-year-round hot weather, Dubai is suitable for a honeymoon no matter what time of year it
is. However, if you’d like it to be a bit cooler when you travel, temperatures are usually cooler between
October and April.

One of the main lures of Dubai is its bounty of shopping malls and designer outlets. You can purchase
all manner of wares there, from designer handbags and clothing to crafts and furnishings. You’ll
recognise all the big names in some of Dubai’s shopping malls, from Chanel to Diesel and Calvin
Klein. If you’re a real shopping enthusiast, why not stay in the Armani Hotel Dubai? Not only is the
hotel elegant and chic from top to bottom, but there are three retail outlets within the hotel, meaning
you won’t have to leave the lap of luxury to indulge in some retail therapy.

If you’re in need of dire relaxation, Dubai boasts some of the world’s most wonderful beaches.
Jumeirah Beach and Palm Jumeirah are among the most popular beaches with tourists and locals
alike, and with various restaurants and clubs nearby you’ll never be far from the action. Or, if you
prefer to sunbathe somewhere more secluded, you can pass your days lazing in Fujairah or Ras al-
Khaimah.

For those of you who wish to venture out of the city, Dubai’s desert and mountains are the ideal
backdrop for an exotic voyage. Book a desert safari where you will be able to visit camel farms (and
ride them too if you’d like!) and absorb the inspiring miles of sand dunes and rugged mountains. For
real authenticity, camp overnight in the desert in a luxury tent and feast upon an Arabic barbeque;
and, as you fall asleep underneath a canopy of stars, revel in the landscape’s romance.

Whether you are in search of a honeymoon that is serene or one that is filled with adventure, Dubai
has something to offer every romantic couple. You won’t be able to deny the splendor of Dubai’s
architecture, nor its abundance of glorious beaches, stunning skyscrapers and enviable shopping
malls.
